Boeing Issues Request To Engine Makers To Power Future Single-Aisle 737 Replacement

It appears that Boeing does not have plans to develop yet another generation of the type. Indeed, it’s becoming clear that the company will instead move towards a clean-sheet replacement and will of course need new engines for the jet.
