While jet aircraft offer clear performance advantages over a propeller plane, this is not to dismiss the value of a propeller-powered aircraft, even in the modern age. Advancements in technology have enabled modern turboprops to be some of the most efficient aircraft on the market today, still widely used both commercially and in a military capacity.
