In May 2025, Qatar Airways inked a historic $96 billion contract with Boeing to order 210 widebody jets (including 50 options). These include 130 Boeing 787 Dreamliners and 30 Boeing 777-9s (the stretched variant of the upcoming Boeing 777X).
