Up To 40 Years Old: How Many Airbus A300s Does Iran Air Fly?

The Islamic Republic of Iran has been in the news a great deal of late, as geopolitical and military tensions continue to boil over in and around the Middle East. Iran Air, the country’s flag carrier, is known for its vintage fleet of aircraft, which features veteran designs such as the Airbus A300 due to sanctions preventing it (and its fellow Iranian airlines) from acquiring any newer planes from Western companies.
