Axentec launches first local Tier-IV cloud service in Bangladesh

Following yesterday’s news that companies in Zambia and Cote d’Ivoire are being enabled to digitally boost their businesses, there’s news of another business-focused digital offering in Africa – this time in Morocco.

Cloud company Amazon Web Services (AWS), has announced plans to launch an AWS infrastructure Region in Mexico by early 2025.

Saudi Arabian digital enabler, stc Group, through its AI arm, stc.AI, says it has launched a large language model (LLM) sovereign cloud platform, which will, it claims, run the world’s largest open-source frontier model.
