JetBlue has carved out a unique space in the market since its inception. Although the carrier initially adopted a low-cost model similar to Southwest's, it set itself apart with amenities that were not typically associated with the low-cost business model. JetBlue now sits entirely in a class of its own, having perfected its operational model throughout the years.
