New York JFK is the US’s leading long-haul gateway. As such, it is unsurprising that it has more widebody flights than any other airport in the country, although it only ranks 10th globally for such activity. On June 16, JFK welcomed the first flight ever on Air France’s highest-capacity twinjet: the 472-seat, low-premium, economy-heavy Boeing 777-300ER.
