Austin-Bergstrom International Airport: A Brief History Of The Texan Facility

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is today the third-busiest airport in Texas (after Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport) and the 27th-busiest in the US. In 2023, the facility saw a total of 22 million passengers, in what was its busiest year to date. However, its history can be traced back to the mid-20th Century.
