Network Rail has today released CCTV footage from level crossings in Worcestershire and the West Midlands showing pedestrians and drivers putting their lives at risk by forcing their way through level crossing barriers.
Closing Featherston’s Fox St rail crossing to traffic would “impede” emergency services response times and “lives will be lost”, South Wairarapa District Council has heard.
Network Rail is warning passengers that buses will replace trains between Bedford/Luton and London St Pancras and between Leicester and Peterborough this weekend (Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 May).
