Why Delta Air Lines Expanded Its Orlando Route Network

Delta Air Lines is playing somewhat of a weird game in Orlando right now. To the everyday airline passenger, Delta’s decision to add more nonstop flights to non-hub destinations from Orlando International Airport (MCO) might seem rather unremarkable. It seems like every day that Delta Air Lines, a carrier focused on aggressive expansion, especially of its international network, adds new routes to its schedule and includes new destinations on its route map.
