Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL) is located 10 miles (16 km) south of the downtown Atlanta district. While the airport location is very convenient for people from all parts of the Greater Atlanta Area, the city traffic can pose a significant challenge, particularly at peak times, passengers getting in and out of ATL.
