In the months and years that immediately followed the coronavirus pandemic, many airports around the world struggled to come to terms with the subsequent boom in passenger demand. While travelers were flocking back to the world’s major air hubs in droves, many of these facilities had not yet caught up in terms of replacing the staffing capacity that was let go when the crisis hit and demand dropped.
