The Boeing F-15EX Eagle II is a multi-role strike aircraft derived from the McDonnell Douglas F-15E. The newest version of the iconic F-15 was launched due to inadequate production of the F-22 and aging previous-generation aircraft. The aircraft made its first flight in February 2021, and a formal introduction into service is planned for July.
