Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is one of Canada’s busiest international airports and the gateway to the country’s west. The airport offers a range of domestic, trans-border, short-haul, and long-haul international flights, and it is straddled on Vancouver proper’s outskirts and the neighbouring city of Abbotsford. Furthermore, the facility is only 29 miles from the Peace Arch Border Crossing, making this airport a useful alternative for Americans who live near the Canadian border.
