A new company which will offer expertise in enhancing the efficiency of the rail freight industry has been launched by the University of Hull.

A TransPennine Express driver has been awarded the Richard Hope Award at the Rail Business Awards for raising more than £55,000 for charity.

At its recent Excellence Awards Hull Trains recognised the individuals who had made considerable contributions to the company’s continued success.
