Air France is one of the world’s top five Airbus A220 operators, with a fleet of 43 A220-300 airframes. Since welcoming its first A220 in September 2021, Air France has continued to expand its A220 fleet, helping it phase out its older and less-efficient A318 and A319 aircraft. The type is now an integral part of its short-haul network and among the most modern aircraft in its fleet, alongside the Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
