Interesting developments have been happening in Chicago, where two airlines share a significant number of departures out of Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD): American Airlines and United Airlines. While neither of the carriers has more than 50% of the market share in terms of weekly departing seats, they are vying to grow their operations out of one of the biggest airports in the country and, in turn, the world.
