Smoking has been progressively banned on flights around the world. It is now fully banned on aircraft and is banned in public areas of airports around the world. However, there are still some designated smoking areas in airports, from Singapore’s Changi Airport to Tunis International Airport in Tunisia. But even here, smoking is in retreat. Only three major airports in the United Statesstill permit smoking in the airport in designated areas.
