Denver International Airport is under the spotlight after it was revealed that it authorized nine executives to fly to Madrid in first or business class. While this may not seem that strange, the move sparked a backlash when it was discovered that one ticket alone cost $19,000. Another staff member broke the airport’s employee travel policy by adding on their two-week vacation in Europe following the conference.
