United Airlines is not taking American Airlines’ recent lawsuit against the city of Chicago lying down and has expressed a strong reaction, calling it meritless. The issue relates to gate allocation at the city’s largest airport – Chicago O’Hare – in which American expressed its displeasure over United being allocated more gates.
