Australia’s second MQ-4C Triton touches down quietly at RAAF Tindal

The route, last attempted months before COVID began, will be the only direct flight between the two destinations and will cut out an often-lengthy layover that can involve changing airports in Tokyo.

Starting late next month, Virgin 737s will be deployed on Brisbane-Mount Isa services, while 737s will operate more Brisbane-Townsville flights starting in November, adding around 6,000 seats per month on the route.
