Northern train services affected by Bank Holiday work

Across the May bank holiday, most of Northern’s train services will be running as normal.

Easter disruptions at West Yorkshire station

Over the Easter weekend, services will be disrupted while a new entrance is built at Mirfield Station, and the station platforms are reconstructed.

the Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) has nearly reached the halfway mark of of its target to recruit 590 apprentices to work on the programme .

The A641 Bradford Road / Northgate will close to both vehicles and pedestrians over some Sundays and full weekends between this month and May 2025.
