Ryanair, the European low-cost giant, is reportedly filing a €1 million ($1.1 million) defamation lawsuit against the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC). According to a report by Italian local newspaper Corriere della Sera, Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary and ENAC, led by Pierluigi Di Palma, are locked in a legal dispute, with ENAC seeking €160,000 ($182,000) for alleged defamation and O’Leary countering with a €1 million ($1.1 million) claim over remarks he deems offensive.
