easyJet’s Milan Linate Flights Up 130% This Year As ITA Airways Sacrifices Slots & Planes

At the end of November last year, easyJet confirmed that it would be expanding its operations at both Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and Milan Linate Airport (LIN). The company was granted a significant number of slots as it became the “short haul remedy taker” for the ITA AirwaysLufthansa acquisition. The first part of the acquisition was completed in January when ITA Airways, Italy’s flag carrier, became part of the Lufthansa Group.
