Tampa International Airport has grown to handle around 25 million passengers every year. This is expected to continue to grow until 2042 as more people fly, Florida’s population grows, and Tampa attracts more visitors to its beaches. Tampa is one of the busiest airports in Florida and serves the west coast of the peninsula.
