The aviation industry witnessed one of its worst times during the global pandemic. At the peak of the air travel disruptions, experts had forecasted a slight hike in prices should air travel return to normal. However, as it stands, ticket prices have been on a constant rise since the air travel recovery began. A report from CNBC shows that airline tickets have outpaced inflation between 2021 and 2023, with an over 25% increase in airline ticket prices.
