Of all the aircraft in the Delta Air Lines fleet, it is quite likely that the Airbus A350 is the most fascinating from an operational perspective, as the jet offers increased capacity over almost all others in North American skies today. With Delta not choosing to purchase larger, next-generation widebodies like the Boeing 747-8 and the Airbus A380 and choosing to retire its fleet of Boeing 777s about a decade ahead of all its competitors, it is fair to say that the Airbus A350 remains the linchpin of the airline’s fleet.
