Over the past four weeks, the stock market has taken a nosedive, following several decisions and current events which have rattled investor faith in the market. For starters, the geopolitical situation in Ukraine has grown increasingly volatile, with tensions coming to a peak during an Oval Office meeting between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. As a result of increased tensions in Europe alongside a diplomatic rift between the United States and its European allies, Europe has decided to increase defense spending.
