Trump is all about U.S protectionism

Since Trump has taken over, we have seen tariffs, trade wars and a massive spike in market volatility. Trump’s U.S. protectionism and general approach is likely to cause ongoing volatility and concern for investors, however, for some sectors it’s already creating opportunities.

One sector that has been growing below the radar of many investors – mainly due to what the Trump administration has been implementing – is U.S. natural resources including copper.

Trump’s strong focus on critical minerals has ignited a level of engagement not seen since the Poseidon Nickel Boom of the late 1960s.

With constant media coverage and policy discussions surrounding critical metals, copper has become a key topic, fueling price surges and renewed interest in exploration and production in North America.
