The US Navy, in a study at the request of the United States federal courts, has decided to affirm keeping the Boeing EA-18G Growlers at Washington State’s NAS Whidbey Island instead of moving them to NAF El Centro in the Southern California desert. Among other reasons for denying the judicial suggestion, the Growler training environment, servicemember families, and the El Centro community would all be adversely impacted.
