How Will Airlines’ Appeal Of USDOT Regulations Affect Passenger Rights?

Over the years, the US Department of Transportation (USDOT) has introduced several measures to protect passengers’ rights, holding airlines accountable when they are not met. Many of these regulations were strengthened under the Biden Administration, with Pete Buttigieg heading up the USDOT. However, airlines appealed against several of the measures, deeming them too restrictive and/or costly.
