Germany’s major airports are facing extensive disruption as a result of industrial action taken by members of the ver.di (‘Vereinte Dienstleistungsgewerkschaft’ or United Services Trade Union) union. The warning strikes come amid stalled collective bargaining agreements as the union looks to secure better conditions for its members in aviation. As such, it has called on its members to “hold all-day warning strikes at several German commercial airports on March 10th.”
