Former Victorian Premier Jeff Kennett has hit out at Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s leadership over the ongoing Australia Day debate.
“If the Prime Minister doesn’t believe in Australia Day he ought to stand down,” Mr Kennett told Sky News hot Steve Price.
“And he ought to stand down secondly for what he’s potentially going to do tonight and that is throw out the tax cuts that have been legislated for a number of years and he went to the polls on.
“People want leadership. “We’ve had a gutful of these people trying to please every minority group every day of the week.”
