PNT: How The US Military Plans To Address GPS Jamming Vulnerabilities

The electromagnetic spectrum, including the ability to communicate with satellites and navigate, is becoming an ever-increasingly important domain in the military. The world’s leading military powers are working on their jamming capabilities to jam aircraft communications, including their access to GPS. In recent years, Russia is believed to have jammed the GPS of commercial aircraft in the Baltic region repeatedly. The United States Air Force, the Space Force, and other branches of the military are looking for ways to mitigate the risks posed by GPS disruptions.
