In preparation for the upcoming 2028 Olympics, the Los Angeles City Council approved an impressive $5 billion in contracts for the Los Angeles World Airport (LAWA), which includes Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Van Nuys Airport. The total projected cost is $30 billion.
