American Brings Back Longest Domestic Route

On February 20th, American Airlines announced that it would be offering quote “more capacity, premium options and exciting new destinations from [Chicago] O’Hare.” The airline promises to fly more from the busy airport than ever before, using larger aircraft with premium options on every flight. One of those exciting ‘new’ destinations – which is actually more of a resumption – will see service to Honolulu. Using a Boeing 787-8, the service will reclaim the title of longest domestic route for American Airlines.
