Maxis taps Nokia for data centre upgrade

At Mobile World Congress Shanghai 2024, James Chen, President, Carrier Business at Huawei, gave a keynote speech entitled “Secondary 5G Innovation: Charting a New Course for Business Success”.

Ericsson revealed it will upgrade Malaysia’s 5G network to 5G Advanced, a move the vendor claimed will open new features and capabilities to attract adoption from enterprises. 

Huawei reported net profit more than doubled in its 2023 financial year to CNY87 billion (US$13.4 billion) as it saw revenue growth across its multiple arms.
