Why Spirit Airlines Really Doesn’t Want To Join Forces With Frontier

Earlier this week, Spirit Airlines rejected another acquisition offer by Frontier Airlines to combine the operations of both airlines, standing firm to its decision back in 2022 to reject a similar takeover. While Spirit remains in bankruptcy, it is not keen on the idea of merging with fellow ultra-low-cost carrier Frontier and will instead push ahead with its own restructuring plan.
