NTSB: Black Hawk Crew That Crashed With American Airlines Plane May Not Have Heard Critical Message

At the latest National Transportation Safety Board ( NTSB) press conference, NTSB Chair Jennifer Homendy shared the NTSB’s latest, best recollection of events before the mid air collision of American Airlines Flight 5342 with a Sikorsky UH-60 Blackhawk. It appears a key air traffic transmission was blocked by an attempt by the Black Hawk to reply.
