Following the certification of a new high-pressure turbine (HPT) hardware durability kit for the CFM International LEAP-1A engines powering the Airbus A320neo aircraft family, the upgrade should follow suit for the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft family in 2025, according to Safran’s executives.
