While both commercial and private aviation involve passengers getting onboard an aircraft and flying to their destination, the two are not quite the same. In simple words, in commercial aviation, passengers fly onboard an aircraft that is scheduled to fly a specific route at a specific time, on a specific day, with the fliers having little to no flexibility. In private aviation, on the other hand, you get flexibility in every aspect of the journey, including the route, time, date, and more.
