The Airbus A319 is rarely discussed in the context of new routes. After all, it is old technology, has higher seat-mile costs than larger equipment (but lower trip costs), and there's a diminishing number of aircraft. They are even less discussed for longer routes, which makes Royal Jordanian's new UK offerings – even if they aren't only on the A319 – all the more interesting.
