The JF-17 Thunder (as it is known in Pakistan) or FC-1 Xiaolong ‘Fierce Dragon (as it is known in Chinese) is an unusual aircraft. It is a rare example of a new build fighter jet that sports Russian, Pakistani, Chinese, Italian, Turkish, and British components. The JF-17 Thunder is a light-weight fighter built by a joint venture between Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) and China’s Chengdu Aircraft Corporation (CAC).
