The Boeing 737 is one of the best-selling commercial aircraft (and, indeed, aircraft of any sort), of all time, with Boeing‘s ‘Orders and Deliveries’ data as of December 2024 showing that almost 12,000 examples have been built. Since the type first took to the skies in 1967, and entered service the following February, many different variants have been produced. However, just four engines have been used.
