Boom Supersonic reached a new milestone in its work toward building the world’s fastest commercial airliner on Tuesday. The next-generation manufacturer’s demonstrator aircraft for the highly anticipated Overture completed its first supersonic flight – breaking the sound barrier over the Mojave Desert in Southern California.
