As part of the Transpennine Route Upgrade, engineers have been carrying out a series of weekend works to carry out railway upgrades between Manchester, Huddersfield and Leeds.
Huddersfield and Slaithwaite stations in West Yorkshire will be closed from Saturday 19 September until Sunday 4 October to allow engineers to carry out Transpennine Route Upgrade work. They will reopen on Monday 5 October.
Transpennine Route Upgrade engineering works will severely disrupt services between Manchester and York on most weekends until the end of April.
