This week represented a special anniversary in the history of commercial aviation, with January 21st marking 49 years since the legendary supersonic airliner Concorde entered service back in 1976. Despite the immense excitement surrounding the delta-winged jet, only 14 production examples of the type were produced (along with six prototypes), with Air France and British Airways being its main users.
