Airtel Malawi addresses fibre outages

MTN Group announced on Wednesday it has officially inaugurated a Technology Innovation Lab in partnership with Huawei Technologies that aims to help accelerate digital transformation and sustainable development across Africa.

The GSMA has elected MTN Group CEO Ralph Mupita as its deputy chair, following the appointment of Bharti Airtel vice chairman Gopal Vittal as chair.

The Angolan government plans to sell its shares in the troubled state-owned operator Unitel as part of broader efforts to privatise the country’s economy.
