One of the most tragic accidents in the history of Japanese aviation occurred over 42 years ago on 9 February when Japan Air Lines Flight 350 tragically crashed into Tokyo Bay, an incident that resulted in the deaths of 24 people. When the incident occurred, the aircraft was performing a scheduled domestic passenger flight between Fukuoka, one of the nation's largest cities, and the capital Tokyo.
