In January 2018, Hawaiian Airlines performed its first Airbus A321neo aircraft’s inaugural flight, marking a new era of a modern single-aisle fleet. The Hawaii-based airline offers nonstop flights to several islands, including Maui, Kauai, and Kona. The mid-range aircraft is utilized primarily on routes between the mainland and neighboring islands, including smaller regional airports. These flights also ensure that cargo customers can bypass major airport transit hubs.
